About

"Nobody would suspect a little wheelchair boy"

The animation was inspired by the song that was made on the garageband iphone app by my cousin, Isaac Martin. He did it while he was laying in a bed for months after being hit by a car, having fractured his pelvis and arm in the accident. He was bedridden for weeks, so I see this song as a fantastic way for him to have kept himself busy for at least a little bit of the time he was laying around.

Influences...

Here are just a few videos that I could say have had some inspiration in regards to what's going on in Hitman. Particularly the guitar 'narrator' in Story from North America. Also the overall absurdity of each video plays a large interest into the general aesthetic.

More specifically, there's a fantastic delight in the overall tone of Gregory's Room where the dark humor lies in the atmosphere.

Also, the animation, lip syncing, and emphasized ridiculousness of Cup-a-Soup has always struck me.

This song doesn't particularly interest me, I only show this video because I feel that the compositing in this video is similar in regards to the direction that Hitman is going in.

Also, the illustrations of both Quentin Blake and Shel Silverstein are largely impressive to me personally. They both have an element of spontaneity and comfort that seem to present a lot of emotion to what the lines are representing.
